JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
• Create infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data using SQL.
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other teams across national boundaries to build centralized data storage solutions.
• Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data sources.
• Provide data tools for analytics and data science teams
• Collaborate with data experts to improve data system functionality.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Strong skills in working with unstructured data sets.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., EC2).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and find improvement opportunities.
• Solid understanding of data transformation, data structures, and workload management.
• Proven history of handling and extracting value from large, disconnected data sets.
