We are seeking a highly skilled Camera Technician responsible for supporting, operating, and maintaining the camera equipment used by our company. This position requires a deep understanding of photography and camera technology to ensure high-quality video and imagery.

Job Description:

Studio Maintenance:

• Operate and monitor cameras and related equipment, ensuring smooth technical operations during video streaming.
• Set up and calibrate cameras to meet specific video shooting requirements.
• Assist studio director to ensure correct camera angles, focus, and exposure settings.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of camera equipment to keep it in optimal
• Resolve technical issues during camera operations, including equipment malfunctions and connectivity problems.
• Assist in post-production tasks, including file organization, data transfer, and image storage.
• Provide technical support on the filming and streaming set to ensure optimal performance of all camera equipment.

Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

• Respond promptly to system incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality.

Monitoring and Optimization:

• Implement and maintain robust system monitoring tools to proactively identify potential issues.
• Analyze system performance metrics and optimize configurations to enhance overall efficiency.

Service Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for service improvement and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements.
• Participate in planning and executing technology upgrades to meet evolving business needs.

Problem Solving: Track and resolve system issues, ensuring stable system operation, and take preventive measures to reduce future problems.

Documentation: Write technical documents, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to ensure a thorough understanding of the system by the team.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Degree or relevant professional training in camera technology.
• Previous experience as a photography assistant or camera operator is preferred.
• Familiarity with various camera models and understanding of technical requirements for different photography styles.
• Rich experience in calibrating and adjusting camera equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and address challenges encountered during onset
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the production
• Passion for photography and video production, staying informed about the latest industry
• Familiarity with camera know-how and settings.
• Familiarity with how to do live streaming.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Chinese communication is highly preferred.
